All tips given the month of April will be donated to the Roger Smith family of St. Marys. Roger is in his 60’s and is married to Stacey. They have three grown children and are blessed with 10 grandchildren. In February 2022, Roger had shoulder surgery and shortly after that he started to have dental concerns. He made an urgent trip to a dentist in June 2022 and the doctors discovered that he has Stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma in his jaw. On July 26, 2022 he went in for a 12 hour surgery to remove the cancer and reconstruct his jaw by using a bone from his leg. Roger still has difficulty walking as he heals from is leg where they removed the bone. After surgery he made daily trips to Columbus for radiation treatments. The radiation treatments have left him nearly deaf in his right hear. He has been off work since February 2023 and is now starting to return to work but is only able to work about 8 hours a week. They have many, many medical bills. Roger loves to refinish old guns, small engines for mini-bikes, and lawn mowers. He also enjoys going to flea markets and looking for antiques and cast iron skillets. Let us keep the Smith family in our daily prayers. Your generous tip will help cover their ongoing medical bills.
