Tip of the Month Recipient | The Kittle Family
All tips given the month of October will be donated to the Taylor Kittle family of Celina. Taylor is 8 years old, the daughter of Ashley Elliot and Tyler Kittle, and the sister to Allen, DJ, Alexander, Grayson, Kamden, and Michael. Tyler works at Fort Recovery Industries, and Ashley is a stay at home mom. Taylor is a 3rd-grade student at Celina Elementary School.
Taylor was born with hypoplastic right heart syndrome with transposition of the great arteries. In this heart defect, the right side of the heart is underdeveloped, and the two main arteries leading out of the heart are swapped. At 8 days old, Taylor underwent open-heart surgery to help establish blood flow to her lungs. At 6 months old, Taylor received another open-heart surgery, and then she received a third open-heart surgery at 2 years old. Each operation was needed to help create blood flow from a major vein to the pulmonary artery and from there, blood flows to the lungs, where it can get oxygen.
January 5, 2026, Taylor was admitted to the hospital because her kidneys levels were high. On January 16, she underwent a five-hour surgery to fix a leaky mitral valve. This surgery unfortunately did not resolve the issue, and doctors gave Taylor’s parents the news that she would need a heart transplant. On August 20, Taylor again received a five-hour surgery to put in a mechanical heart pump, which helps the heart pump correctly, so her organs have proper blood flow. Taylor has been in the hospital since January and is still waiting and hoping to receive a new heart soon.
Taylor enjoys fishing, gardening, Paw Patrol, watching sports, and taking walks with her family. Let us keep the Kittle family in our prayers. Your generous donations will help pay for Taylor’s ongoing medical bills. Thank you, and God bless!
